Day 23: Build day 4 - The Painting Team

The second post box was primed in record time , with the help of Slovo's youngest volunteers. It was a messy situation for a while, but the outcome produced by the team, aged between four and ten was astounding. Some lessons learnt:

A four year old armed with a roller full of paint is a potentially chaotic situation.

A team lead by an older child,an "out liner",and a third team mate to "colour in", works best, and everybody learns.
Everybody wants the "cool" brush,so they should be the same.Plan plan plan. So many volunteers and not enough containers and trays for the paint

And finally, we are grateful for the fact that it was water based, with Slovo's little helpers returning home some what more colourful than they had been in the morning.
