A fire stated when a candle was knocked over in one household. The fire spread quickly to the other homes in the yard. Luckily there were no serious injuries but many possesions were lost. Once again Takolias hardware in Kliptown generously assisted with the purchase of new materials to quickly re-erect shelters for the families who lost their homes. Takolias has shown as always that they support and assist the communities not only in Kliptown but also Slovo Park.
New structures were erected and with outside support as well as that of the community, food furniture and clothes were donated.
